Bastrop Art Fest is Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lost Pines Art Center, 1204 Chestnut St., and admission is free. It is one of the easiest ways to spend a fall Saturday in Bastrop: art, music, live demos and a shuttle that links the Art Center to downtown.

What will you see at Art Fest?

The Lost Pines Art Center says this year’s festival includes:

  • Artist and craft vendors from across Texas
  • Glassblowing and blacksmithing demos, plus painting and pyrography (wood burning)
  • Live music from Chubby Knuckle Choir, noon to 1:30 p.m.
  • Hands-on art activities and games for kids and grown-ups
  • Indoor exhibits and the gift shop at the Art Center
  • Food from Taqueria Mi Lindo Michoacan

Is Bastrop Art Fest free?

Yes. Admission is free, and the Eventbrite listing says parking is free too. If you register for a free ticket, the Art Center says you are entered to win a gift basket valued at over $500 that includes a family membership.

Can you visit downtown during Art Fest?

Yes, and that is part of the fun. A free shuttle runs to participating venues, which the Art Center lists as the Bastrop Museum & Visitor Center, Bridges Emporium Collective, the African American Cultural Center & Freedom Colonies Museum, Found Fine Art, Vibe Tribe and RA Green Mercantile.

You can also take the Bastrop Bird Junction Sculpture Walk, a self-guided tour of six sculptures of native and migratory birds on Chestnut Street, the same street as the Art Center.

What else is happening that weekend?

The Art Center also points to F.A.M.E. Days on Friday, Nov. 6, hosted by the Bastrop Cultural Arts Committee, along with First Friday on Main Street. For the rest of the month, see our November events roundup.

Times and details come from the organizer. Please confirm with the Lost Pines Art Center before you go.
